Your First Visit
Your first visit with us may include:
- Comprehensive oral examination
- Full mouth digital x-rays
- Oral cancer screening
- Oral hygiene instruction
- Teeth cleaning
- One-on-one consultation with our dentist to discuss your needs, concerns, goals, and treatment options
During your visit, we will answer any and all questions about your oral health. We will provide a detailed financial consultation to ensure your treatments are timed effectively and affordably.
Insurance and Billing
We can help you maximize your benefits. We recommend that you contact our office prior to your appointment to provide us with insurance information for verification of benefits. We accept most major dental insurances and will file most claims for you as a courtesy. We will provide you with an explanation of your dental benefits and financial responsibilities up front, and work with you to ensure financing, if needed.
We are direct providers for Anthem/ Blue Cross and Delta Dental.
We are general providers for all other PPO organizations.
We are NOT providers for Medicaid or any HMO(health management organizations).
We will assist in filing your insurance for you, however you are ultimately responsible for all charges.
For any DEEP DISCOUNT insurance plans like Anthem/ Blue Cross, estimated patient co-payments are required to be collected before being seen for appointment. This helps keep administrative costs down allowing our office to participate with these Deep Discount plans. We WILL NOT bill for patient co-pays!
*We are happy to announce at the end of September 2018 we will be participating providers with MetLife Dental Insurance!*
*Dental-Doctors of Lynchburg will offer a 5% Military Discount to patients that present proper identification.

KLEER Membership Plan
Our membership plan is not insurance, a qualified health plan, pre-payment for future services, or payment for access to discounted services. Our membership plan includes a 30-day money back guarantee. You can receive a full refund up to 30 days after purchase if no benefits of the plan have been used. Refunds after 30 days will be at the discretion of our practice. Payment for any treatment(s) not included in the membership plan is due at the time of service. The membership plan benefits may not be combined with insurance, other offers, or discounts. Our membership plan does not cover the following procedures completed at our practice: cosmetic treatments such as cosmetic bonding and veneers. Our membership plan does not cover procedures completed by specialists outside our practice.

We provide multiple financing options to ensure you can receive the treatments you need with a plan you can afford.
Financing
Our office offers financing through Compassionate Finance & Care Credit. Care Credit
Care Credit is different from a regular credit card. Use it to pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by insurance. Special financing options are available through Care Credit that you may not be able to get with other cards. Short term financing options are available for 6,12,18 or 24 months, with no interest charged on purchases of $200 or more, when you make minimum monthly payments and pay the full amount by the end of the promotional period. If you do not, interest is charged from the original purchase date.
Compassionate Finance
The option to finance is not available for all services or for services less than $500.00. Financing does require a down payment before treatment is scheduled. More than 95% of patients are accepted for financing and only requires a patient to have a job and a bank account. A plan is personally created for your individual, specific, dental needs. This option will be offered by default during your consultation and the decision to pursue will be left up to you!
