Dr. Silvia Valtcheva attended the University of Illinois, Chicago, where she received her dental degree. She practiced in both Illinois and California for over 13 years, where she saw patients for dental consultations, fillings, dentures, implants, and teeth whitening. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society.
Dr. Valtcheva believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. Her patients highly recommend her and remark that she is kind, friendly, and answers all of their concerns during their care. I have the utmost confidence that Dr. Valtcheva will treat you with compassion, convenience, and work hard to provide you with a valuable patient experience.

As a father I wanted a home for my kids where people I provide care for could one day in turn be there for my children and my team when we all need each other most. When I dreamed of having my own dental practice, I imagined a support team that could help me create an ideal environment where we could both support our families and our neighbors. In Lynchburg, I hope to create that environment where I can provide both convenient opportunities for employment and access to care in my community.
Outside of family and work I personally enjoy bodybuilding, learning fundamentals of Muay Thai, and hanging out with my local friends as of late. From EDH to the Mandalorian I’ve also been a science fiction fan as long as I can remember. So if you are ever at Dragon Fire Games feel free to say hello if you too enjoy all things fantasy.
I was born and raised in Farmville, Virginia and moved to Lynchburg in 2022.
I was introduced to the dental field via my hometown dentists Dr. Hicks and Dr. Johnson in Farmville Virginia. After graduation from Longwood University, I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry and license to practice in the state of Virginia in 2017. In 2019 I completed my Fellowship requirements for the F.I.C.O.I. at the Triangle Dental Institute Continuum and became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2020 at NYU. In 2020 I also completed my Invisalign certification, and continued my Invisalign training with Dr. Blevins and Dr. Mars, Align CE, and clinical practice with Align technology.
